Panhas is a firm German grain-and-meat loaf sliced thick and pan-fried until the outside crisps, with buckwheat depth, peppery seasoning, onions, and mustard on the side.

Simmer chopped cooked pork with broth, onion, marjoram, pepper, and salt.
Whisk in buckwheat flour gradually until the mixture thickens into a heavy paste.
