Easy Low-Fat Chili
Easy Low-Fat Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 medium onion, chopped, 1/4 c. chopped green pepper, 4 c. water, divided, 1 (15 oz.) can great northern beans, rinsed and drained and 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In large saucepan, cook the onion and green pepper in 1/2 cup water until tender.
Add beans, paste and tomatoes.
Stir in chili powder, salt, pepper and rest of water.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat.
Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Serves 7 (1 cup) servings (low-fat).
