Steak Parmigiana
Steak Parmigiana is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. round steak, 1 beaten egg, 1/3 c. parmesan cheese, 1/3 c. bread crumbs and 1/2 c. vegetable oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Pound meat to 1/4-inch thick and trim off fat.
Cut in pieces.
Dip in egg and mixture of bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
Brown in oil with the onions (both sides of meat).
X 13-inch baking dish.
To the same oil, add spices and tomato paste.
Add water, stirring constantly. Boil for minutes, scraping brown bits from bottom of pan. Pour
2/3 of with cheese slices and remaining sauce.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
