Pepper Steak(Chinese)
Pepper Steak(Chinese) is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. salad oil, 1 lb. beef, cut into thin strips (sirloin or rib), 1 large green pepper, cut into thin strips, 2 scallions, thinly sliced and 1/2 c. diagonally sliced celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Large skillet, heat oil.
Add beef and cook over high heat, stirring frequently until browned, about 5 minutes. Add pepper, onion and celery. Cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Reduce heat; stir in molasses, soy sauce, lemon juice, pepper and seasonings.
Blend water and cornstarch; quickly stir into mixture.
Cover.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Serve with hot fluffy rice.
