Low Calorie Low Fat Breakfast Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. turkey breakfast sausage, 1 lg. onion, chopped, 1 lg. green pepper, chopped, 2 4 oz. can mushrooms, chopped and 1 lb. bag frozen broccoli cuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook- brown and drain turkey sausage and place in a 13x9-inch pan, sprayed with cooking spray.
In same fry pan, brown onion, green pepper, and mushrooms.
Adding broccoli after 5 minutes until vegetables are tender but not mushy.
Add vegetables to sausage and mix, add cheese and mix again, after add spices.
Pour over all a large container of egg substitute and mix gently.
Bake at 350Β° for about 40 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean, if not browned you may want to put under the broiler for a few minutes, but watch carefully.
Cut in.
Serves 6-8.
