German Potato Salad
German Potato Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 medium potatoes, 1 lb. bacon (lean), 1 1/2 c. chopped onions, 1 1/8 c. cider vinegar and 1 1/2 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Peel potatoes and cut in half.
Place in saucepan.
Cover with boiling water.
Cover pan and cook until tender when pierced with fork, about 20 minutes.
Drain.
Shake pan over low heat a few minutes to dry potatoes.
Cut into 1/4-inch slices.
Dice and cook bacon until crisp.
Drain bacon on paper towels.
Return 6 tablespoons of drippings to skillet.
Add onions; cook, stirring frequently, until transparent.
Stir in vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
Heat to boiling.
Add bacon and stir.
Pour over potatoes. Toss lightly to distribute bacon.
Serve immediately.
