π Recipe adapted from RecipeNLG-Full
Steam rice in rice cooker.
Let rice cool after it has steamed. In hot pan with 2 tablespoons of oil (canola oil is monosaturated), put in chopped onions and stir.
When onions are transparent, drop in rice and stir until uncrumpled and hot.
Add eggs and stir. (One to two eggs, this gives a yellowish color and protein.)
Add green peas, carrots and green pepper (chopped) if you like vegetables in rice.
Add thinly sliced meat (your preference, chicken, shrimp, pork or beef).
Stir until hot.
Add oyster sauce or soy sauce.
(I like the taste of oyster sauce and this is what I usually use, about 3 tablespoons.)
Stir in.
Add chopped green onions on top of rice for garnish look.
Serves a family of 5 with big appetites.
I hope you like it.
