French Onion Soup
French Onion Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 qt. beef bouillon, 3 c. thinly sliced yellow onions, 1/4 c. butter, 1 1/2 tsp. salt and 2 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Pour bouillon in crock-pot; cover, set on high.
Cook onions slowly in large skillet in butter; cover and let cook about 15 minutes.
Uncover and add salt and flour.
Stir well.
Add to bouillon in crock-pot.
Add vermouth.
Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours (High for 3 hours).
Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
