Tartar Sauce
Tartar Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 egg yolks, 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice, scant 1/2 c. olive oil, scant 1/2 c. vegetable oil and 2 tsp. drained capers, dried between paper towels, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Measure all ingredients into blender jar (or a deep cup if using a hand held blender).
Blend on medium speed until mixture reaches desired consistency (30 to 40 seconds).
If using hand held blender, start with blades on the bottom of the cup and pull up through the mixture slowly with blender on medium speed.
