Swiss Steak
Swiss Steak is an easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. round steak, 1/3 c. flour, 1 onion, sliced, 1 can stewed tomatoes and 2 carrots, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cut round steak into serving portions and press with flour. Brown meat on all sides in a little fat in heavy skillet or Dutch oven.
Add onion, carrots and tomatoes.
Cover and simmer gently about 1 1/4 hours or until meat is tender.
Can be served with hot buttered noodles.
