Swiss Steak
Swiss Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 (4 oz.) minute steaks, tenderized, 2 tbsp. cooking oil, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1 fresh, medium green pepper and 2 (1 lb.) cans canned tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Saute onion and pepper in hot fat.
Remove from skillet. Brown steaks slightly; salt and pepper to taste.
Place steaks in casserole pan in single layer, if possible.
Mash canned tomatoes; add sugar.
Mix in onion and pepper.
Spoon vegetables over steak.
Bake covered for 1 hour at 300Β°.
Serves 12.
