Round Steak Supreme
Round Steak Supreme is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 lb. round steak, 1/2 c. flour, 2 eggs, 1/2 c. milk and 1 c. fine bread crumbs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cut steak in 1-inch squares.
Coat with flour.
Beat eggs and milk in pie plate.
In another plate, combine crumbs, cheese and seasonings.
Dip meat into egg mixture and coat with the crumbs, cheese and seasoning mixture.
Brown meat in hot oil.
Place in a 2-quart baking dish.
Arrange slices of tomatoes on top of meat. Stir water into tomato juice drippings in skillet; heat to boiling, scraping brown bits from pan and pour over meat.
Salt and pepper.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 1/2 hours.
