Low-Fat Fettuccine Alfredo
Low-Fat Fettuccine Alfredo is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 (16 oz.) pkg. fettuccine or linguine, salt, 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour, 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper and 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
About 30 minutes before serving, prepare fettuccine as label directs, using 2 teaspoon salt in water; drain.
Keep warm.
In 5 quart saucepot, mix flour, pepper, ground nutmeg and 3/4 teaspoon salt; stir in milk.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens slightly.
Boil 1 minute.
Remove saucepot from heat.
Stir in fettuccine, grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
Toss to coat well.
Serve immediately garnished with parsley sprigs.
