Hungarian Goulash
Hungarian Goulash is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in 1/2-inch cubes, 3 tbsp. oil, 1/3 c. plain flour, 1 tbsp. paprika and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Brown meat in hot oil in large saucepan.
Mix together flour, paprika, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Stir into meat mixture. Add onion, tomatoes and water.
Cover and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Gradually stir evaporated milk into mixture. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
Serve over hot noodles.
Makes six 1/2-cup servings.
