Heart Healthy Pepper Steak
Heart Healthy Pepper Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 oz. boneless chuck steak, 1 tbsp. plus 1 tsp. diet margarine, 1 medium red bell pepper, seeded and cut into thin strips, 3/4 c. beef broth and 1 tsp. soy sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Broil steak on a rack until rare; cut into thin strips.
Heat oil in skillet.
Add red pepper strips and saute until tender. Add steak, broth and soy sauce and cook for 3 minutes.
Gradually stir in dissolved cornstarch and cook until sauce thickens. Season with pepper.
