French Onion Soup
French Onion Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1 tbsp. flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce and 1/2 c. romano or parmesan cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Preheat Dutch oven over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add butter and melt.
Saute onions until brown, about 5 minutes.
Sprinkle flour over onions and stir until well blended.
Add beef stock, salt, pepper, sauce and garlic powder.
Simmer over low heat, covered, for 45 minutes.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
