Dinner Rolls(One of My Favorite Recipes)
Dinner Rolls(One Of My Favorite Recipes) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. active dry yeast, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 c. salad oil (buttery flavored good) and 2 c. warm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In large mixing bowl, place first 4 ingredients.
Add warm water.
Add 3 1/2 cups flour or more to make stiff dough.
On floured board, knead in approximately 3 more cups of flour.
Knead until dough is elastic and lumps have smoothed out.
Place back in mixing bowl, cover and let rise in warm place for 1 1/2 hours or in refrigerator overnight.
When ready to use, punch down.
Make out in rolls about the size of golf balls and let rise 1 1/2 hours in warm place.
Grease baking pans while making out rolls.
This makes 48 dinner rolls and dough will keep in refrigerator 1 week.
Bake at 425Β° for 20 minutes.
