Chili Sauce
Chili Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 gal. large ripe tomatoes, 6 green peppers, 1 1/2 pt. vinegar, 2 tbsp. cinnamon and 1 tbsp. mustard, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Peel, core and slice tomatoes. Chop onions and peppers. Place in a large kettle.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cook on top of the range, stirring frequently, until the sauce is the consistency of catsup (about 4 hours).
Jars with hot sauce, leaving 1/2 inch headspace.
Process in a boiling water bath canner for 15 minutes.
Yields 5 pints.
