Bohemian Dumplings
Bohemian Dumplings is an easy dinner. Made with all-purpose flour, sifted, 2 c. milk, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. salt and 6 to 8 slices dry white bread, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Make a nest with the flour in a large round bowl.
Add milk, eggs center of flour nest. Mix mixture, adding flour large spoon until blended together.
Slices into 1-inch pieces and drop them one at a time into blended mixture until a ball can be made from it.
Do not overwork mixture.
Make balls about size of a baseball.
Boiling in a 4-quart or larger pan.
Boil for 1/2 hour.
Water must continue to boil. Keep a lid on pan.
