Barbecue Spareribs
Barbecue Spareribs is an impressive dinner. Made with 4 lb. spareribs, 1 onion, peeled and quartered, 2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper sauce and 1/2 c. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In large kettle, place ribs, onion quarters, salt and pepper sauce in 3 quarts water.
Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, 1 1/2 hours until very tender.
Drain.
Meanwhile, make barbecue sauce in medium saucepan.
Combine all ingredients for sauce and simmer, uncovered, for one hour, stirring occasionally. Arrange ribs on rack in broiler pan, basting frequently with sauce 10 minutes on each side.
