Baked Venison Steak

Cut meat into 5-inch strips (1 inch thick).
Pour with tenderizing hammer.
Blend eggs and dip meat in egg.
Roll meat in cracker crumbs.
Cover bottom of frying pan with oil and preheat on medium setting.
Place meat in pan and brown both sides.
After browning, arrange strips in baking dish.
Add water until meat is almost covered.
Cover with foil and bake at 350Β° for 1 1/2 hours. Use the baking dish drippings to make gravy.
