Tartar Sauce
Tartar Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. mayonnaise, 1 tbsp. shallots or green onions, minced, 1 to 2 tbsp. chopped pickles, 1 tbsp. green pepper, chopped fine and salt and white pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In a medium mixing bowl, with a wire whisk, blend the mayonnaise, parsley, shallots, chopped pickles, hard egg and green pepper.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add sufficient lemon juice or wine vinegar to thin the sauce slightly and to point up the flavors.
Yields 1 1/2 cups.
