Stone Soup
Stone Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. pepper, 1/2 c. chopped onions, 1 c. sliced celery and 1 c. grated carrots, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

In a large pot combine beef, water, salt and pepper; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; add the barley, celery, carrots, onions and potatoes.
Simmer for two hours.
After two hours stir in the milk and serve with bread.
