Scones
Scones is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 6 tbsp. butter, 3/4 c. milk and 2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Place flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in mixing bowl. Cut the butter into dry ingredients with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal.
Stir in currants and milk until dough leaves sides of bowl.
Turn out onto floured surface and pat into 1/2-inch thickness.
Place on baking sheet and, cutting almost to bottom, score into 12 wedges with a knife.
If desired, brush with milk or sprinkle lightly with cinnamon-sugar. Bake in preheated 400Β° oven until browned, about 15 minutes. Serve warm with butter, honey or preserves.
