Onion Soup Gratinee
Onion Soup Gratinee is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sliced onions, separated into rings, 2 tbsp. margarine or butter, 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans condensed beef broth, 2 1/2 c. water and dash of pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Saute onions in butter in large saucepan.
Add broth, water and pepper.
Cover; simmer 15 minutes.
Pour soup into six 8-ounce ovenproof bowls; top with toast.
Cover with Swiss and Parmesan cheese.
Place bowls on jelly roll pan.
Bake at 425Β° for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Serve immediately.
