Nan's Swiss Steak
Nan'S Swiss Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. round steak, 1/2 c. flour, salt and pepper to taste, shortening for browning steak and 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cut steak into serving pieces.
Mix salt and pepper with flour.
Brown steak (do not fry).
Cook just long enough to brown both sides.
Drain steak on paper towel.
Mix soup with 2 cans of water in baking dish or roaster.
Add steak.
Cover.
Bake 1 hour at 350Β°.
