Mostaccioli (Macaroni and Cheese)
Mostaccioli (Macaroni And Cheese) is an impressive family-friendly dish. Made with 2 c. mostaccioli, 3 tbsp. butter, 3/4 c. chopped onion, 3/4 c. chopped celery and 1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Cook mostaccioli according to package directions.
Melt butter in a large skillet.
Add onion, celery and garlic and cook over medium heat until golden.
Add tomato paste, water, seasonings and sugar.
Cover and cook about 20 minutes.
In a 2-quart casserole dish, spread a thin layer of sauce over the bottom.
Sprinkle with 1/3 of the Parmesan cheese.
Layer with half each of the mostaccioli, Ricotta, sauce and half of remaining Parmesan cheese. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
Bake at 400Β° for about 25 minutes until hot, bubbly and golden brown.
