Low-Fat Chili
Low-Fat Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground turkey, 1 1/2 c. chopped onion, 2 cloves garlic, minced, 1/2 c. chopped green pepper and 1/2 c. diced zucchini, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
In medium saucepan over medium-high heat, saute onion, garlic, green pepper, zucchini and water about 5 minutes or until soft. Brown turkey in skillet and drain off liquid.
Add to vegetables. Add tomato sauce, tomatoes with liquid, black beans and spices. Lower heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
Serve over cooked rice.
