Homemade Vegetable Soup
Homemade Vegetable Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 lb. beef (including soup bone), 3 qt. cold water, 3 to 4 onions, quartered, salt to taste and 1/4 head cabbage, shredded, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cut half the meat from bone and brown.
Add remaining meat and bone to cold water.
Add browned meat, onion and salt to cold water with meat.
Cook slowly for a couple hours.
Add vegetables; continue cooking until done.
This soup is better if used next day.
