Frozen Cole Slaw
Frozen Cole Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large head cabbage, shredded, 1 tsp. salt, 1 large carrot, grated, 1 c. vinegar and 2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Sprinkle the shredded cabbage with salt.
Toss well and let stand 1 hour.
Drain off any excess water.
Add the carrots and peppers and mix well.
Combine vinegar, sugar, water and seed in saucepan and boil for 1 minute.
Pour over cabbage and spoon into freezer containers and freeze.
Thaw before serving. May be put back in the freezer and taken out when you need it again.
