English Muffin Bread
English Muffin Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. flour, divided, 2 pkg. dry yeast, 1 tbsp. sugar, 2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

In large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt and baking soda.
Add warm milk and water; beat on low for 30 seconds, scraping bowl often.
Beat on high for 3 minutes, then stir in remaining flour.
Dough will be stiff.
Do not knead.
Grease 2 bread pans and coat with cornmeal.
Spoon batter into pans. Sprinkle with cornmeal.
Cover and let rise to double in size in a warm place.
Bake in 375Β° preheated oven until golden brown. Remove from pan immediately.
Slice for toasting.
