Cream of Asparagus(Quick Soup)
Cream Of Asparagus(Quick Soup) is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (13 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth, 1 (15 oz.) can asparagus spears, chopped, 2 tbsp. chopped onion, 1 c. milk or half and half and salt and pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Place broth, asparagus and onion in 2-quart saucepan.
Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Ladle into blender or food processor; blend at medium speed until well mixed. Return to saucepan.
Whisk mildly; season with salt and pepper. Heat soup thoroughly, but do not boil.
