Chili
Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 2 cans stewed tomatoes, 1/3 c. bread crumbs, salt (optional) and 1/2 can chili powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Brown ground beef on medium heat, drain and add tomatoes with liquid, chili powder and salt.
Stir well and cook on medium heat until it starts to bubble.
Then turn heat to low, cover and simmer for 1 hour.
Then add beans with liquid and bread crumbs; mix well.
Simmer another 15 minutes.
Chili should have thickened.
Serve with crackers or chunks of Cheddar cheese.
