Bocconotto
Bocconotto is a small Italian pastry cup filled with dark chocolate, almond, and jam. The tender shortcrust hides a rich center, making one or two pastries enough for coffee or dessert.

Roll shortcrust pastry and press it into small fluted molds.
Mix melted chocolate, ground almonds, jam, sugar, egg, orange zest, and a pinch of salt.
Fill each pastry cup, then cover or partially cover with more dough.
Bake until the pastry is golden and the filling is set but still moist.
Cool before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.
