Black Bean Soup
Black Bean Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with dry black beans, 1/2 c. olive oil, 1/2 large can pureed tomatoes, 1 large can stewed tomatoes and 2 tbsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Soak black beans overnight; drain and add water and olive oil and after a few minutes, add pureed tomatoes, stewed tomatoes, salt, cayenne, oregano, cinnamon, cumin powder, basil and garlic powder.
Bring to a boil, then lower fire to a simmer until done, about 1 1/2 hours.
