Almond Granola Bars
Almond Granola Bars is an moderately easy breakfast dish you can prepare in about 1 hour 30 minutes. Made with c. lightly salted butter or margarine, to 4 tbsp. light brown sugar, . honey, c. uncooked old-fashioned oats and c. chopped almonds, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease 8-inch square baking pan.
Melt butter in large saucepan.
Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar and honey until combined.
Stir in oats and almonds.
When well mixed, press into prepared pan using back of wooden spoon.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove from oven and place on wire rack.
Press mixture down again and cut into bars.
When cool, remove bars and store in airtight container at room temperature or wrap and freeze.
