Swiss Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. flour, 2 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. pepper, 2 tbsp. wesson oil and 2 medium onions, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix flour, pepper, pound into both sides of meat. Heat oil frying pan.
Brown meat slowly (10 minutes) on each
Remove from pan.
Cook onions in same pan until golden.
Stir in remaining flour from dredging.
Add water and tomatoes.
Stirring, until sauce comes to a boil.
Put meat in pan and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
