Swiss Steak
Swiss Steak is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. round steak, 1/2 onion, sliced, 1 can whole tomatoes, put through sieve, 1/3 c. green peppers, diced and 1/3 c. carrots, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Trim fat and tenderize meat.
Cut steak into portions.
Salt, pepper and flour each piece.
Fry in skillet with 2 tablespoons Crisco until golden brown.
Set aside each piece on plate.
In a casserole dish, add tomatoes, 1 cup water, steaks, onions, green peppers and carrots.
Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350Β°.
