Spaghetti in White Clam Sauce
Spaghetti In White Clam Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1/4 c. salad oil, 4 cloves garlic, minced, 2 (8 oz.) cans clams, minced and drained and 1/4 c. finely chopped fresh parsley, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Melt butter. Add oil and heat. Saute garlic and clams in hot oil mixture over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
Stir in parsley, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Cook spaghetti and drain well.
Return to pot.
Put sauce on top. Toss lightly and top with Parmesan cheese.
