Sour Cream Cake Coffee Cake
Sour Cream Cake Coffee Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1 c. sugar, 1 egg, 8 oz. sour cream and 1 tsp. almond extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream together the butter/margarine, sugar and egg; then add the sour cream and almond extract.
In another bowl, mix thoroughly together the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Mix wet and dry ingredients on medium speed until heavy and dough like.
Mix topping mixture together in a separate bowl.
Pour half of mixture in pan, then pour half of the topping over that half. Then pour the rest of the mixture and then the topping.
Put in a preheated 350Β° oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
Let cool in pan for about 5 minutes before serving.
