Seafood Gumbo
Seafood Gumbo is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. medium shrimp, 1 lb. imitation alaskan crabmeat, 1/2 lb. frozen okra, sliced, 1 can backfin crabmeat and 1 (12 oz.) can yellow whole kernel corn, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Steam shrimp for 3 minutes and devein.
Cut up or dice Alaskan crabmeat.
Slice okra while frozen.
Remove shells from crabmeat. Drain corn.
Drain tomatoes.
Dice onions and peppers in large chunks.
Combine all ingredients in large pot (Dutch oven).
Add cornstarch to thicken as desired.
Cook for 15 minutes over medium heat (stir constantly).
Serve over white or brown rice.
