President John F. Kennedy Fish Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. haddock, 2 oz. diced salt pork, 2 onions, diced, 1 c. chopped celery and 1 bay leaf, crumbled, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Simmer haddock in 2 cups water for 15 minutes.
Drain; reserve broth.
Remove bones from fish.
Saute diced pork until crisp.
Remove and set aside.
Saute onions in pork fat until golden brown.
Add fish, potatoes, celery, bay leaf, salt and pepper.
Pour in fish broth plus enough water to make 3 cups liquid.
Simmer 30 minutes.
Add butter and milk.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Serve sprinkled with diced pork.
