Onion Chowder
Onion Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. dehydrated potatoes, 1/4 c. dehydrated onions, 1 c. salt pork, 2 c. water and 2 c. evaporated milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Soak potatoes and onions in water as directed on their packages, several hours in advance.
Brown the pork on bottom of kettle until most of the grease is fried out.
Then add potatoes and onions. Cook 10 minutes.
Put in water and milk.
Just before chowder comes to a boil, season with salt and plenty of black pepper.
Serves 2 to 3.
