Old Fashioned Tea Cakes
Old Fashioned Tea Cakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. sugar, 2 eggs, well beaten, 1 tsp. vanilla and 3 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Blend in eggs and vanilla.
Add combined dry ingredients.
Mix well.
Put on floured board and work in additional flour until dough can be rolled out easily.
Divide dough and roll out to 1/8 inch thick. Cut with cutter, place on ungreased baking sheet and bake at 400Β° for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Yields: 3 dozen.
