Mom's Pepper Steak
Mom'S Pepper Steak is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. beef, cut into very thin slices (sirloin or rib), 2 tbsp. cooking oil, 1 large green pepper, cut into thin strips, 2 green onions, thinly sliced and 1/2 c. very thin diagonally sliced celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Brown beef in heated oil in large skillet.
Add pepper, onions and celery.
Cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in molasses, soy sauce, lemon juice and seasoning.
Blend water and cornstarch.
Quickly stir into beef mixture. Cover. Simmer 5 minutes.
Serve over hot cooked rice and/or heated Chinese noodles.
Makes 2 to 3 servings.
Add a touch more lemon juice to cut sweet taste.
