Made with 1/2 c. frozen sugar-free apple juice concentrate, thawed, 2 tbsp. cornstarch, 4 c. fresh or frozen strawberries (no sugar added) and 6 packets equal sugar substitute, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Blend apple juice and cornstarch in a saucepan (no heat). Stir mixture until well blended.
Add strawberries.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
Continue stirring and boiling for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
Stir in sugar substitute. Yields 3 2/3 cups.
