Low-Fat Corn Oil Pastry
A flaky single-crust pastry made with corn oil instead of butter or shortening. Crisp, neutral in flavor, and a little kinder on cholesterol than the traditional version.

Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. With fork or pastry knife cut in oil, then ice water, a tablespoon at a time, until mixture leaves sides of bowl.
