Lentil Chili
Lentil Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1 onion, chopped, 4 cloves garlic, minced, 1 c. dry lentils and 1 c. dry bulgur wheat, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
Add the onion and garlic.
SautΓ© for 5 minutes.
Stir in the lentils and bulgur wheat.
Add the broth, tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper to taste.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes or until lentils are tender.
Makes 6 (1 cup) servings.
