Hot "Buttered" Asparagus(Vegetable) is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. asparagus, 1 tbsp. corn oil margarine, 1/4 c. fresh bread crumbs, 1/8 tsp. salt and 3 to 4 shakes hot pepper sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Wash asparagus and trim tough parts of stems; set aside. Prepare bread crumbs; put in blender or food processor to make fine crumbs.
Steam asparagus in small amount of water until tender.
Melt margarine in pan; add hot pepper sauce.
Add crumbs and salt; saute until golden.
Place well-drained asparagus in serving dish; top with hot bread crumbs.
