Fried Corn
Fried Corn is an easy dinner. Made with 8 to 10 ears corn, 1/2 lb. bacon (10 slices), 1 c. milk or light cream, 3 tbsp. sugar and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cut tops kernels a sharp knife. Scrape the pulp and milk of corn from the cobs.
Fry bacon in large, heavy skillet.
Remove bacon and pour corn into the hot drippings. Cook at medium heat until corn begins to brown on bottom.
Stir and sugar, salt and pepper to taste. Add the milk and stir again.
Simmer, covered, stirring every once in awhile for 12 to 15 minutes or until corn has thickened and is well done.
Serves 4.
